Nestled in the picturesque Slovenian Istria, Koper is the perfect destination for cycling enthusiasts.

Element 2

Cycling in Koper promises unforgettable experiences for cyclists of all levels. Beginners and experienced cyclists alike will find suitable routes, ranging from flat coastal trails to more challenging hilly trails in the Slovenian Istrian hinterland. One of the most popular trails is the Parenzana follows the route of a former narrow-gauge railway line connecting Trieste and Poreč. Koper also hosts important cycling events such as the Istria Cycling Marathon, the Mountain Bike Marathon and the Slovenian Istria Grand Prix.
