Our beekeeping is located in Kampel, in a quiet village near Koper, surrounded by greenery, orchards and vineyards. You will easily find us, as our house and apiary stand along the main road to the village of Marezige, and only 4 kilometers away from us are the center of Koper and the sea.
This area is characterized by a mild Mediterranean climate and typical Mediterranean plants and herbs: lavender, rosemary, oregano, laurel, fennel, sage, olive, vine, fig, pomegranate, almond, khaki and many others. Beekeeping and bee products in Slovenian Istria are something special and slightly different than in the interior parts of Slovenia. Some typical Mediterranean honey plants grow in our immediate vicinity, which give to our honey its characteristic aroma and color.
