Kroki is a little crocodile who lives in a little house on the edge of the forest. His friends like to visit him there: Tine the rabbit, Zdenka the squirrel, Merjasec the hedgehog, and Urša the owl. Today is a very special day—it’s Kroki’s birthday, and Kroki is waiting for his friends. Have they forgotten about him?
The stories about Kroki touch on a wide variety of topics: friendship, compassion, sensitivity, diversity, and our relationship with things and nature. The performance will be produced in co-production with the Konj Art Theater.

Claudine Rivest is a versatile artist from Quebec who primarily focuses on experimental puppet theater. Her stories are therefore told not with words but with sounds and images.
And who is PIPO? He is big! He is strong! No, neither is true… He is just Pipo, a curious character who finds himself in trouble in a world full of sewing tools. We follow him into this world, where even a slip of the thimble is enough to change his fate.
For children aged 3+.

In this highly communicative performance, children are actively involved throughout. The lovable Zupi the Clown loves to interact directly with the audience and quickly establishes a genuine connection with his little helpers, who enjoy his every quirk and enthusiastically help him to solve the puzzles he keeps getting himself into again and again. And because Zupi is hilariously grumpy, they also like to tease him a little. Just when they think they’ve missed him, Zupi surprises them again with a funny quirk.

Three adventurous puppeteers, a collection of colourful marionettes and a special fully-equipped truck: these are the key ingredients of I Piccoli di Podrecca on the road, a show by Teatro Stabile del Friuli Venezia Giulia with the support of the Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia. When the back door of the truck opens, the puppeteers get out and on this unusual stage they present old and new items from their endless, entertaining and surprising repertoire. The show will captivate audiences of all ages and will feature some of the most popular
numbers from Piccoli’s repertoire, including performances by a violinist who will delight audiences with his extraordinary virtuosity and a ballerina who will perform Camille Saint-Saëns’ ‘The Dying Swan’ from Carnival of the Animals with incredible grace.
This ‘travelling’ version of the classic Variety is actually a modern reinterpretation of the Italian Chariot of Thespis, a travelling theatre company founded in 1930 to bring opera to the masses, which has performed in many cities that did not
have regular opera seasons (and even in some that did).
