16th ISTRIAN CARNIVAL PARADE

Carnival is coming to Koper!

On Saturday, 14 February 2026, at 11:00 a.m., you are invited to the 16th Istrian Carnival Parade, which will fill the city with colours, laughter and true carnival joy.

Ethnographic masks, colourful carnival groups and original carnival floats will parade through the city streets, creating an unforgettable carnival experience for all generations.

Parade route:
Parking area near Bonifika Stadium → Ljubljanska Street → Pristaniška Street → Anton Ukmar Square.

A children’s programme is also planned and will be announced soon. Come in costume, dance with us and let’s chase away the winter together! And don’t forget to treat yourself to a delicious carnival doughnut.
