24th PUF Puppet and Street Theatre Festival, Koper

24th International Summer Street and Puppet Festival PUF in Koper: street performances at Museum Square, Carpaccio Square, the Semedela Promenade, Hlavaty Park (near the market), and other locations. At Lutkarnica, there will be a program of more intimate performances for smaller groups of visitors, while throughout the summer the multimedia exhibition “The Ear of the Marsh” by Nika Solce will be on display.The program is rich and diverse, intended for families, children, young people, and adults. Puppet, circus, acrobatic, serious, and entertaining performances and shows featuring artists from abroad — Italy, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, Argentina, Denmark, Canada, Croatia — as well as Slovenia. All events held in the open spaces of Koper’s squares and streets are free of charge, though the artists will appreciate contributions to their hat.Opening of the PUF Festival: Wednesday, July 1 at 7:00 PM in Taverna.
