Wine lovers, take note! From 15 to 17 May, the 53. Festival of Refošk and Slovenian Istria returns to Marezige.

For 53 years, this event has celebrated the king of Istrian red grape varieties – Refošk. This year again, it promises a vibrant programme featuring a rich food and wine offering, immersive wine experiences, live music, and other accompanying events.

The highlight of the festival will once more be the crowning of the King of Refošk, taking place on Saturday, 16 May. More details about the programme will follow.

Festival of Refošk and Slovenian Istria is a unique opportunity to discover the rich winegrowing tradition, contemporary winemaking creativity, and flavours of Slovenian Istria in one place.
