Welcome to a unique experience – Altroke St. Martin’s Day Celebration in Koper
Altroke St. Martin’s Day returns on Saturday, November 15, 2025 to the heart of Koper, once again bringing together excellent wines, local gastronomy and a rich cultural and musical program inside the city’s historic palaces
PROGRAM IN THE PALACES – 2:00 PM TO 7:00 PM
Tastings with over 30 wine producers and a vibrant artistic and entertainment program including high-level dance performances, the opening of two exhibitions, historical costumes and period dances, poetry and much more.
Stroll through the palaces of the old town – the Regional Museum of Koper, Praetorian Palace, Gravisi Buttorai Palace and the San Francesco d’Assisi Protocol Hall – and meet winemakers while tasting the finest wines from Slovenian Istria and neighboring regions
Each palace will offer a different experience with a wine story, authentic flavors and artistic impressions
GRAND FINALE – 7:00 PM TO 11:00 PM
The winemakers will leave the palaces and join the celebration in the Praetorian Palace courtyard, where the festivities will continue with live music by Teo Collori Trio and plenty of opportunities to toast and mingle in a relaxed and convivial atmosphere
ST. MARTIN’S GASTRONOMY
Throughout the festival day, from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM, the gastronomic offer inspired by St. Martin’s Day traditions will take place in the San Francesco d’Assisi Protocol Hall.
