Anemarija Štefančič began her musical career playing the clarinet at the Fran Gerbič Music School in Cerknica. After finishing lower music school, she enrolled at the Koper Artistic Gymnasium in 2005, majoring in solo singing, In 2009 she enrolled at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna (Universität für Music und darstellende Kunst Wien), where she studied singing with Prof. Gabriele Lechner until 2014, and from March 2014 with Prof. Bernhard Adler. She graduated in January 2015. In March of the same year, she completed her Master's degree in opera in Vienna, where she continues her studies under the watchful eye of director Reto Nickler and conductor Christoph Meier. She keeps upgrading her knowledge through various seminars with world-renowned professors and singers such as Kassimira Stoyanova, Neil Sicoff, Marjana Lipovšek, Barbara Pearson, Maartin Koningsberger and others. As a soloist she regularly performs with various chamber ensembles and orchestras, both at home and abroad. Since February 2016 she has been a member of the opera studio of the Slovene National Opera and Ballet Ljubljana. During her studies, she made her debut in the roles of Proserpina in Monteverdi's Orfeo and Irene in Handel's Tamerlane.
The 7th concert of the Amabile with the Museum series will take place on 20 June at 19:30 in the hall of the Koper Regional Museum.
