
Film Evenings at Prešeren Square
Summer evenings in Koper will once again come alive with films under the stars. Prešeren Square will host the return of the Film Evenings series, transforming one of the city's most beautiful squares into a free open-air cinema from 12 July to 16 August.
Visitors can look forward to a carefully curated programme of classic films and contemporary favourites from around the world, promising evenings filled with laughter, emotion, and unforgettable stories.
The unique charm of the Film Evenings at Prešeren Square lies in the vibrant atmosphere of Koper's historic town centre. Before the screening or while enjoying the evening, visitors can savour a selection of delicious food and refreshing summer drinks at the welcoming café terraces of nearby venues, which will extend onto the square especially for the occasion.
The cinematic experience begins long before the opening scene—with relaxed conversation, a refreshing drink, and the flavours created by local cafés and restaurants, setting the perfect mood for a memorable summer night under the stars.
