House of Bardinc – open days with guided tours

Lopar, House of Bardinc, Open Days with guided tours -  celebrating International Women's Day, on 8 March 2024 Guided tours: 10.00 - 12.00, 17.00 - 19.00 org.: House of Bardinc Association   The stories of the Istrians and their way of life are presented in the unique collections and are on display in the House of Bardinc, in Lopar, a typical Mediterranean house which basic material is stone. It was restored in 1999 by the villagers, who contributed documents, photographs and various objects in order to present their local history and ethnology. Throughout the year, the house, all its rooms and the courtyard are the venue for various cultural events related to the Istrian people, their customs, traditions and historical memory.
