This traditional event held in May is a very special moment; in the palm of your hand, you will be able to admire local communities, tourist associations, and other service providers operating in the Municipality of Koper.
The traditional event of the Day of the municipality will this year bring life to the city on Sunday, May 15. Along Pristaniška street and the surrounding locations, local communities and tourist associations of the destination Koper will present themselves between 10 am and 3 pm. With animations, cuisine, musical instruments, workshops and other interesting events, visitors will try to get closer to the old customs and characteristics of the rich green countryside of Koper.
On this day, the city will also host the passenger cruise ship Celebrity Constellation with approximately two thousand passengers, so the pulse in the city will certainly be very lively. The events will be further enriched by the Istrian Games, such as playing the Mora, jumping in sacks and playing Briscola.
The day will end with an evening concert on Tito Square, starting at 8 p.m. The group Corti Collective will take care of the warm-up and afterwards Nina Pušlar will perform as the main guest. The concert will be free for all visitors.
