Screamobala: Zbrucz, Whane, Falesia @CMK

SCREAMOBALA
CMK is hosting an evening for fans of screamo and emo-hardcore music, bringing together the Slovenian, cross-border, and Italian scenes!
ZBRUCZ (emoviolence) is a four-piece screamo band from the Maribor area. It consists of vocalist Alex Češek, who is also active in the band CHIK PAWZA, guitarist Denys Hornosum, bassist Kristjan Matjašič, and drummer Urban Saletinger. Their musical expression combines elements of late 90s and early 2000s emo/screamo with occasional emoviolence and post-metal outbursts, while their lyrics explore themes of frustration, abandonment, and self-reflection, intertwining Slovenian and English.
WHANE (screamo/post-hc) - are a screamo/post-hardcore band from Udine, founded in 2009 by Alex Ortig, Francesco Chiarandini, and Lorenzo Lugli, who were joined by Marco Zuccolo in 2014. In 2015, they released a split with Bastian and the album “Prima di iniziare a vivere” on Stay Home Records (Italy) and Like a Fool Records (Japan). In 2022, they returned to writing songs and created “Per tutti sempre e, poi, amore,” a new album released in September 2025.
FALESIA (skramz/emo-hc) - Falesia is a new skramz band from Trieste, whose lineup includes members from the Slovenian minority, Friuli, and Trieste. They recently released their debut EP, which they will present live with just the right amount of despair and anger.
