Promotional concert for the release of the album 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐬 (Kapa records, 2022) + Opening bands: With their second album, the first released on Kapa Records, SPIRAL MIND, this time in the form of a full-blooded instrumental ensemble, prove their ability to stack complex musical building blocks into dynamic and expressive arrangements. The band currently functions as a blend of electric guitar and synthesizers by the mastermind Manuel Brajnik, bass and synthesizers by Rok Babič, also known under the creative name Rochwald, percussion by the rhythmic mastermind Gaj Bostič, and occasional saxophone backing by Matej Novak. The band masterfully blends influences of electronic music, progressive rock, African rhythmics, jazz and other genres into a sea of multi-genre currents, and through waves of different musical ideas announces its resistance to classification and compartmentalisation. Building on the foundations of two EPs and one full-length, SPIRAL MIND construct an album full of hypnotic and soaring instrumental confessions of thought as well as dynamic momentum, tracks made for wild dancing, but which nevertheless demand close attention to rhythmic changes.
