Brain Week 2024 in Koper

International Brain Week takes place every year in the third week of March. It includes a series of educational events aimed at raising awareness among the general public, as well as professionals, of the results of research on the human brain and nervous system. Visitors to the Koper event will be able to listen to nine lectures, attend a film evening or participate in a workshop. This year's speakers include the neurologist from the Izola General Hospital, Dr Bojan Rojc, writer Milena Miklavčič, psychotherapists Nuša Klinar and Mihael Černetič, and others. The focus of Brain Week 2024 is on the topics of sexuality, intimacy and eroticism. The lectures cover the role of sexuality in the life of an individual, in intimate relationships and in  society in general. The lectures, workshop and film evening will be held in Koper at the Faculty of Mathematics, Natural Sciences and Information Technology (UP FAMNIT, 8 Glagoljaška ulica) from Tuesday 12 March 2024 to Friday 15 March 2024. The Brain Week is organised under the auspices of the Sinapsa Association.   Registration for the workshop opens on Monday 4 March 2024 via e-mail: tmkoper2022@gmail.com, with the subject line "Name of workshop",and it's subject to availability. A successful application will be communicated with a confirmation message.
