Historical Spring 2024: Conversation with Tončka Senčar, an exile during World War II

On Thursday, 7 March, the History Department of the Faculty of Humanities (UP) will host, as part of the traditional Historical Spring, Tončka Senčar, who, as a young girl, spent World War II in four different German labour camps. She will share her wartime experiences, shed light on life in the labour camps and present her unique perspective on this period. The discussion will be moderated by Saša Petejan, an experienced journalist who has been collecting oral testimonies and preserving historical memory for over a decade.
