WINE FOUNTAIN
On one of the most scenic viewpoints in Slovenian Istria – in Marezige, offering a stunning view of the Istrian countryside and the Bay of Koper – stands the first wine fountain in Slovenia.
The first Wine Fountain in Slovenia offers a unique and unforgettable experience for wine lovers and food enthusiasts. While enjoying the breathtaking view of the Slovenian coast, you can taste excellent wines from local wineries and savor authentic Istrian delicacies.
ABOUT EXPERIENCE
At the fountain, you can taste some of the finest wines from Slovenian Istria, including wines from the region’s largest winery, Vinakoper, local winemakers from Marezige, the annual Refošk Festival champion, and the current Mayor’s Wine of the Municipality of Koper. Next to the fountain, there is also a shop offering local products alongside the wines.
The fountain is located on a panoramic terrace, where two large wooden wine glasses create a popular photo spot and add a special charm to the setting. You can enhance the experience with local Istrian snacks and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere as the sun sets.

A Wine Fountain glass, a carry pouch, and three tasting tokens for sampling wine at the outdoor pavilion.
Tasting Package 2
A wine glass, a carry pouch, and credit for tasting up to six premium wines available in the indoor wine pavilion.
Both packages include the same total quantity – 3 dcl of wine.
