Dal 2004, Capodistria si è costantemente posizionata come porto di riferimento per le navi da crociera, distinguendosi nel mercato del trasporto marittimo di passeggeri come una destinazione vivace, attraente e ancora poco conosciuta per le crociere nel Mediterraneo.
