In the village, you can admire the old houses made of hard white stone, and below the village you will notice gardens, vineyards and olive groves. The village also boasts the only church in Slovenia that is dedicated to St Apollonia.

There is also the Church of the Assumption of Mary in the village, which was built in the mid-16th century, and in 1753 renovated in Baroque style.

In the valley of the village, you can find “Zvroček”, the spring of the Rižana River, which is the ideal post in hot summer days.

Near the spring, there is also a stone labyrinth (build in 2008), meant for introspection and relax.
