Quartet Con anima
The beginnings of the quartet date back to 2018, when the musicians started to work under the mentorship of Professor Cvete Kobal during their studies at the Academy of Music in Ljubljana, in the framework of the course Chamber Music. They performed in the Solo e da camera series at the Academy of Music in Ljubljana, gave a solo concert as part of the Week of Amateur Culture organised by the JSKD in June 2022, and appeared as guests at a concert by the women’s choir Tice in Spodnja Idrija, performed a solo concert at Zemono Manor in Vipava as part of the ‘Dvoriščni koncerti’ chamber music festival, and are proud of their recently released CD – Mariborski klasični salon, featuring their performance of Julius Eichberg’s Serenata. Through constant collaboration and artistic development, the quartet strives to offer its listeners a varied repertoire of music to satisfy even the most demanding tastes. They draw inspiration from everyday life and strive to stay abreast of contemporary trends and developments in the world of music.
The 5th concert of the Amabile with the Museum series will take place on 14 May at 19:30 in the hall of the Koper Regional Museum.
