Gigi la legge
Alessandro Comodin, Italia, Francia, 2022, 102′

Gigi is a charismatic and diligent traffic policeman from a quiet country town in Friuli. Grappling with an inexplicable suicide, he begins to follow the lives of his fellow villagers with greater dedication… A witty and authentically intimate portrait of a man who is very attached to his environment, it moves elusively between documentary and fiction, between reality and fantasy. The film premiered last year at the Locarno Festival, where it received the Special Jury Prize. This year it also opened the Kino Otok – Isola Cinema Festival.
