Exhibition: Discovering water with Herman the fox

Thursday, 11 April 2024, at 11.00, Koper Regional Museum, Kidričeva ulica 19

Opening of the guest exhibition: Discovering water with Herman the fox

Water is a seemingly a very simple compound, an odourless, colourless and tasteless liquid. Have you ever wondered where it came from and how it was created? Did you know that 59 rivers flow in Slovenia? And that their total length is 2,500 km? The exhibition will give you the opportunity to learn about water, its physical and chemical properties, the types of water on the planet and its circulation. The exhibition looks at water from different perspectives and sheds light on it both globally and locally. The themes relate to water’s relationship with people, nature and society. The exhibition draws attention to universal issues in the modern world, while encouraging more responsible water management. It is designed to be interactive and offers corners for independent exploration, learning and, of course, play.

Koper Regional Museum and  Celje Museum of Contemporary History invite you to the opening of the exhibition, which will take place on Thursday, 11 April 2024, at 11:00, at Koper Regional Museum, Kidričeva ulica 19. The author of the exhibition, Jožica Trateški (Children’s Museum Herman’s Den ) will be present, as well as Herman the fox, of course.

You are cordially invited!
