Koper celebrates 1500 years this year. The year-long celebrations will also take place under the volts of the Pretorian Palace throughout the year. The celebrations will include exhibitions and events related to important historical and artistic milestones in the city’s history. The first exhibition has been organised by the Municipality of Koper and the Regional Museum of Koper and highlights events from the city’s 1500-year history.
On Tuesday, the 16th of January, at 11.30, you are invited to the opening of the first exhibition as part of the Koper Capodistria 1500 celebrations, under the volts of the Praetorian Palace, in the Little Lodge (at the entrance to Cobbler Street). Until mid-February, citizens will have the opportunity to get to know more about the milestones that have marked the city.
