Krkavče – The scent of Istria is an authentic Istrian event that includes a presentation of the village of Krkavče, its inhabitants, customs, cuisine, products and animals that were once an indispensable part of life in the village. It will take place on Saturday, September 18, the day of St. Mihael, patron saint of the village Krkavče.

The main event space will be on the beautiful and unique village square in front of the church, which lies on a “living” rock. There will be a stage and a catering offer that will also offer tipical Istrian dishes such as garlic soup, minestrone with corn, cod with polenta,…

The central part of the event will be a cultural program, which will take place from 6 pm onwards in the village square in front of the church. At that time, Istrian songs will resound from the throats of the surrounding singers, and folklore groups in Savrin costumes will spin to the rhythm of Istrian music. Rudi Bučar and Banda will sing.
