Matija Udovič

Matija Udovič (1990) began his musical career as a violinist at the Tartini Music Atelier with Prof. Vildana Repše and later with Prof. Vlado Repšet. After finishing high school, he enrolled at the Academy of Music in Ljubljana in the class of Prof. Vasili Meljnikov, where he graduated with honours in 2015. During and after his studies, he continued his studies with various renowned local and foreign teachers (D. Rowland, O. Shourgot, M. Marseglia, V. Meljnikov, J. Podlesek), participated with numerous professional and semi-professional orchestras (SNG Opera and Ballet Maribor, SNG Opera and Ballet Ljubljana, Young Ljubljana Soloists, SFK Symphony Orchestra, NOVA Philharmonic from Nova Gorica, etc.), participated with numerous professional and semi-professional orchestras (SNG Opera and Ballet Maribor, SNG Opera and Ballet Ljubljana, Young Ljubljana Soloists, SFK Symphony Orchestra, NOVA Philharmonic Orchestra from Nova Gorica and others), played in various chamber ensembles and taught at public and private music schools (Music School Domžale, Tartini Music Atelier). He sees the meaning of engaging in classical music primarily in training in disciplined work, preserving and spreading aesthetic culture and mutual cooperation.

Peter Kaiser

Peter Kaiser is a regular guest on domestic stages. After his successful graduation in 2020, he completed his Master’s degree in the class of Prof. Igor Škerjanec in Ljubljana. He often collaborates with Egon Mihajlović in old music concerts, the RTV Slovenia Symphony Orchestra and the Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra. With the Slovenian Armed Forces Orchestra he performed a double concerto for cello and flute by D. Maslanka under the baton of conductor Andrea Šolar. He has also studied at masterclasses with national and international mentors such as Alban Gerhardt, Philipe Muller, Denis Shapovalov, Torleif Thedéen, Johannes Moser, Reinhard Latzko, etc. He has also performed in the solo recital series organised by the Academy of Music in Ljubljana, at the Ljubljana Festival, the Lent Festival, the Bled Festival and the Nei suoni dei luoghi Festival in Italy. He is a prizewinner of several national and international competitions, both solo and with various chamber ensembles.
