The cosmopolitan Portorož invites you with its promenade and the broad selection of hotels, thermal parks, restaurants and casinos. Especially interesting is the Kempinski Palace Hotel, which opened its doors in 1910.
We also recommend a visit to the former Monfort salt warehouse, which today serves as a showroom and gallery. Those interested in culture will marvel at the sight of the Forma viva outdoor collection of stone statues.
During a walk from Piran to Portorož, you can also admire the Grand Hotel Bernardin, where we recommend you to stop by the Monastery and Church of St. Bernardin, which was built in the 15th century.
