The only extensive protected area in Slovenia that also includes the sea, the smallest and most northern salt pans in the Mediterranean, the only Slovenian sea lagoon, the longest and best-preserved pine-lined road in Slovenia and more. Particularly attractive is the Moon Bay, the mandatory “postcard” of our coastal region.
We also recommend a tour (whether on your own or with a guide) of the Strunjan Landscape Park, where you will learn about the history, culture and specific features of this natural environment.
