Venice is less than 200 kilometres away from Koper, which makes it a perfect destination for a one day trip. Of course, the visit of Venice from the sea is an especially exceptional experience – from around the end of April to the beginning of October trips from the Slovenian Istria are possible with a catamaran (departures from Piran).
