Between the houses and the student accommodation or between the streets Izolska vrata and Bošadraga you can find the rotunda of St or Blessed Elijah or the rotunda of Mary’s Assumption. It is a former baptistery and at the same time it is also the oldest preserved sacral building in Koper.

The 11th century building is shaped like a vertical cylinder and during the renovation in 1694, where it was decorated in the Baroque style, a presbytery was added to it.
