Above the village is the fortress Church of St George: a single-nave church designed in the Gothic style with a presbytery that has a ridged arch, a vestry and a richly decorated Baroque altar furnishing from the 17th and 18th century. It features a bell tower from the 19th century and it is surrounded by a wall – a remnant of the fortification camp from the period of Turkish invasions.
