The Church of St Servulus was built between 1583 and 1607 and stands on the upper edge of the village. It is a single-nave church with an apse, vestry and a bell tower with semicircular openings. The year 1648 is visible on the portal.
The area surrounding the castle is filled with Karst caves that were supposedly the prehistoric home and hiding place of St Servulus. In the vicinity of the castle, you can also visit the Holy Cave – a Karst cave with the only underground church in Slovenia. (You can visit the cave every Sunday at 2pm.)
In the village you can also visit the cemetery chapel with the year 1877 written on the crossbeam above the door (it was reconstructed into a chapel of rest at the beginning of the 21st century).
