The house has a small inner courtyard, and its entrance is decorated with a Baroque portal depicting a relief of a male’s head. In 1774, the entire house was renovated in the Baroque style.
The Orlandini House is also known as the Prefect’s Palace, since the prefect of Istria used to live in this house during Napoleon’s reign.
