Altroke Istra Gourmet Festival is a great opportunity to taste Istrian cuisine.
The festival is organised by the Koper Public Institute for Youth, Culture and Tourism in cooperation with the Slovenian Istrian Winegrowers’ Association.
Next dates of the festival:
- 2 December 2021, from 11 am to 8 pm, Tito Square in Koper.
- Concert: Vsega so krivi Faraoni at 6 pm.
Slovenia is the Region of Gastronomy 2021, which is why cuisine, sustainable development of gastronomy and promotion of gastronomic tourism are in the forefront this year. In Koper, a number of gastronomy activities are combined under the brand name Altroke Istra.
In addition to the Altroke Istra Gourmet Festival, you can visit The Tastes of Koper open-air gallery on Kidrič Street in Koper and taste a different altroke dessert each month from Istrian providers of sweet delicacies as part of the Altroke Istra by Sladka Istra promotional campaign.
