Take a guided tour of one of the most remarkable palaces in Koper that reigns over the central town square – the Tito square.

This picturesque palace, dating back to the 13th century, was once the home of the city’s rulers, and functions today as an important protocol building and town hall.

As part of a guided tour of the magnificent palace, you will get to know the old pharmacy from the end of the 18th century, the central lobby, the wedding hall, the salon, the mayor’s room and the meeting room.

Your palace tour guide will reveal many interesting facts as they show you around, and a special application will take you back into the past through special animations and reveal even more interesting things.

Booking a guided tour of the palace is possible in the Koper tourist information centre, which operates on the ground floor of the palace.

The price of the experience, which includes a guided tour of the palace and the use of the application:

Adults: €5.00/person
Students and pensioners: €4.50/person
Children and groups (min. 15 persons): €4.00/person

*Guided tours are possible at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. by prior arrangement. Visits for larger groups of people are also possible at other times (by prior arrangement).
In case events there are events taking place in the palace, tours are not possible. Visits could be limited because of restrictions due to the COVID-19 virus.
