Captain Cappo will lead the children through Koper Old Town; he will show them the sights of this town and tell them his story.
We will start our trip, which will be several hours long, by visiting the market and the captain’s obstacle course. We will proceed to Carpacciov trg Square to see Carpaccio’s stone house with Gothic windows, and Taverna, a former salt warehouse, and we will also find out why the column of St Justine is standing in the square. We will pass the mighty Venetian palaces and ascend to the platform with a view of Luka Koper, where a cruise ship may be waiting for us. On the way to the main town square, we will admire the smallest house in the world. We will go down Čevljarska ulica Street to descend to Prešernov trg Square with a unique bridge-shaped fountain. We will leave the Old Town through the Muda Gate to round off our trip under the town’s palms. The common thread of this adventure is the life story of Captain Cappo.
