The area of cypress lined roads with 669 trees from 1960, which (due to the protection of vineyards from the “Burja” winds) are planted in two lines, is registered as cultural landscape in the Register of immovable heritage of the Republic of Slovenia. In addition, other trees, wild animals and the source of drinking water can be admired there.
You will also notice an estate with vineyards. Although the estate is also a protocol building, the main activity of the owner of the estate is wine production. The wine cellar is the work of the architect Boris Podrecca and is ranked among top 100 most beautiful wine cellars in the world.
