The idea of organising an internationally renowned festival dedicated to youth has come alive in 2019. Encouraged by feedback from the jury, competitors, audience, music experts and guest choirs, we are organising a second edition with new ideas and more experience.
By organising a variety of events within the festival, we aim to offer a quality event to the Slovenian and international community, encouraging new achievements in vocal music. In addition to competitive and non-competitive performances by choirs and an international competition for conductors, we will also present the winners of a composition competition.
Music is a universal language that can connect and inspire people through its immediacy. It offers the possibility to embrace diversity and unites people regardless of nationalities and beliefs. It is used to express our feelings and tell our stories, to grow and transcend ourselves.
