The culinary market and end-of-the-month gathering returns again this year to the villages of the Koper countryside and the city from May to September.
The Altroke Istra Gourmet Festival is back for its third edition this year, a culinary marketplace where five selected locations in the rural areas of Koper and the city offer the authentic, traditional dishes of Istria, and visitors can taste the character of our region while chatting with winemakers, distillers or brewers. This year, the festival will take place in the countryside on the last Thursday of every month from May to August, and will also make a stopover in Koper on Saturday at the end of September. The first meeting will take place on the 25th of May at the Santomas estate, on the 29th of June the festival will move to Marezige, on the 27th of July it will continue in Dekani and on the 31st of August it will be held in a new location in Boršt. The festival will end on Saturday 30 September in Koper.
The Altroke Istra Gourmet Festival will again this year feature an enjoyable music programme and other activities organised by the Institute in cooperation with the local communities and hosts of the festival.
