Once upon a time, there was an angry little ant…..which annoyed the other ants at work and at play, teased and frightened them, threw banana peels on the floor, broke the potter’s pots and, as if that were not enough, attacked a bull and mauled it. But it did not get far with this behaviour. Soon there was no one left to annoy and frighten. All the ants, all the bulls, the potters and the children ran away and hid. And there was nothing left to break and destroy. She was left all alone in the rubble and shards.

It was then that she realised that evil and destruction are useless and that life is much more pleasant when we live in harmony with  people and things around us. Even if she behaved badly towards the other ants, they did not resent her and did not reciprocate her bad behaviour with the same. They accepted her and gave her a chance to repair the damage she had caused.

The ants sing and dance together while cleaning, but are happiest when the children join them on stage.
