St Nazarius, the patron saint of Koper and the first bishop of Koper was born in Boršt around the year 470. A chapel is dedicated to him and on his name day (19th of June) various festivities take place in the chapel.
In the village, there is also a single-nave Romanesque Church of St Roch and Sebastian from the 13th century. The church was later decorated in the Baroque style; it has a rectangular floor plan with an apse and a double bell-gable. The altar is designed in the late Baroque style.
