The palace is believed to have been constructed by the Italian architect Giorgio Massari.
This building has a Baroque façade, a luxurious entrance and staircase, a balcony in the piano nobile, a series of window apertures, and a series of reliefs with biblical content above the lintels.
Today, the palace houses the town’s central library.
