While the most important part is the promotion of wine and wine culture, the event culminates in the proclamation of the “Refošk Champion”, accompanied by the coronation ceremony of the “King of Refošk” and by the traditional farm wagon parade.
In addition to choosing the best wines, Slovenian wine producers, winegrowers, olive growers and farms can also present their products at the event, accompanied by a rich cultural programme.
